Well, the President was not actually present, not that we know of.

With the photo above as evidence, President Goodluck Jonathan who has been reluctant to congratulate the new Kano Emir, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, may actually claim to been present at the turbaning –

in spirit.



It’s eerily ironic that the actual turbaning took place right under the President’s nose – literally – while Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s photo stayed watchful.
