Women spend 627 hours annually worrying about their looks - Research Study

Here is an interesting article by Daily Mail. And I guess most of us are guilty ..

The study of 2,000 women, out today, found that annually, on average, they worry about their looks for 627 hours and 28 minutes.Much of this time is spent simply fretting over what to wear and then worrying about how the outfit looks throughout the day. But being overweight is the biggest concern for women, as they fret for up to an hour and 46 minutes about it each week.

Girls spend a further one hour and 26 minutes a week frantically trying to cover up their curves, with eight in 10 women admitting they often have days where they just want to cover up problem areas regardless of what they see in the mirror. Women spend 50 minutes a week deciding what to wear, and a further one hour and 32 minutes worrying if what they have chosen then looks okay.

Even underwear presents problems, with ladies taking up to 39 minutes a week to decide what lingerie looks

best on a weekly basis.Attending a wedding requires the most thought on what to wear, closely followed by a party or a night out.

I think the average lady spends more than a month a year on her appearance...Any lady agree with this?

CBN Announces Plan To Release N5000 Note In March 2014

Despite criticisms from the public, the Central Bank of Nigeria has announced plans to produce and distribute the N5000 note in 2014.

Deputy Governor of CBN, Tunde Lemo disclosed this while speaking to journalists at the NIBSS 20th anniversary conference held in Lagos, sayimg in one to two months from now, the N5000 notes would be in circulation.

According to him:” We only stopped the project due to the low level of understanding of its benefits among Nigerians, but we now plan to educate the people about the importance of the notes to our economy before we eventually launch it”.

He added that Nigerians would soon see the notes in circulation and start to enjoy its benefits. Speaking on the cashless initiative, Lemo noted that it has been a great success within the experimented states, stressing that the apex bank has deployed 120,000 Point of Sale (PoS) Machines across the states where cashless policy is being experimented in Nigeria. He frowned at reports that 70 percent of the PoS deployed within the country are ineffective, explaining that a lot of things could have caused the ineffectiveness”. Similarly Director, Banking and Payment Systems, CBN, Mr. Dipo Fatokun, who was also a speaker at the conference, noted that the apex bank’s cashless initiative has aided the development of Nigeria. He stressed that banks and customers now enjoy the easy flow of transactions within the banks. He, however, noted that the Nigeria payments system, in the last two decades, has witnessed significant technological advancement, due to the operations of Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement (NIBSS) Plc.

It's unrealistic"-Amber Rose on why she isn't skinny 9months after child birth

Amber Rose may be subtly sending a message to Kim other celebrities who exhibit perfect post-baby bodies immediately after birth. Many have been shocked that 9months after birth(she gave birth on feb 21) she still had the bulge on her tummy and looked fat..She took to her instagram to say this alongside her new figure above

"I'm almost at my goal weight. Just 7 pounds to go! Absolutely no surgery just diet & exercise. Most celebs give u false hope when u have a baby ( My son was 9lbs) and in 3 months ur supposed to be skinny

again..... It's not realistic in most cases. It takes 6 weeks to heal before u could even work out. Anyway, the moral of the story is losing baby weight the natural way takes longer but it's much healthier for ur body and helps u stay strong to carry another baby. So don't put ur life at risk for societies standards of when ur suppose to lose ur pregnancy weight. Take ur time & don't take the easy way out - Muva"

Don't you just love Amber...

GALA SELLERS TO REPRESENT NIGERIA AT 2014 WINTER OLYMPICS

The Nigerian sports ministry has embarked on an operation to recruit hawkers who sell items on major roads across the country. The sports minister, Mr John Fadiora, said “This is something we should have done a long time ago, we have many people who sell things on the roads and they are always in motion, running up and down to sell their goods. Some of them even run faster than many cars, these are raw talents wasting away.

The federal ministry of sports has decided to work with these hawkers, especially the ones that sell gala sausage rolls, they run like sport cars. One of them chased me from Oshodi to my house in Victoria Island one day because I forgot to pay him his money, what was really surprising was that he even got to my house before me even though I was driving. These guys have what it takes to bring Nigeria all the gold medals when it comes to athletics. They will also save the country from spending so much money training new athletes as they don’t even need any training.

They just need to continue selling their goods and on the day of the competition we will take them to go and represent us at Sochi winter 2014. I’m sure Usain Bolt will be amazed to see that Nigeria has got running machines in human form”.
