On the extent her late ex-husband hurt her: He hurt me badly.Yes. During our years of courtship and marriage, I never suspected that we would just break up like that or anything could ever come between us. Back then he told me everything. I could tell you where he was at every moment; I trusted him so much.

On meeting the other woman her ex-husband left her for: It was later, much later and when I did I was like ‘did he leave me because of this thing?’ I don’t know how to put it but men don’t really appreciate what they have until they lose it.

On how she got over the shock and the journey afterwards: I believe so much in myself, and when I got over the shock of the separation and all that, I made up my mind that I was going to make a statement without a man. I wanted to prove that a hardworking woman could make an impact and with God’s grace I

have come a long way.

The truth is that when you’re focused and you know where you’re going to, you’re likely to succeed. I made up my mind then that I wasn’t going to remarry. I was determined to make it and make all men including my late husband know that with God by her side, a woman can make it in life without a man’s support.

Rachael also advised other women going through the same situation she said: “Just believe in yourself and with hard work, you will get there. God is always faithful. I killed my emotions and I said to myself ‘Rachael, your kids must go to the best schools.’ It was just work and my children.

18-year-old Ana Rosa Mora (pictured above) has been arrested for killing her own child because the the new born looked like her ex-boyfriend. Ana wrapped her baby in a bag and left him outside to die because she feared the child looked like her ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend would leave her.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the teen gave birth last weekend and attended school on Monday after allegedly committing the act and even showed staff members pictures of a newborn girl that she claimed she downloaded from the Internet.

But after employees noticed strange behavior - such as the girl asking if authorities could link her to the child through DNA and lying about the baby's age - they alerted authorities. Continue...

The child had been found by a construction worker a few hours after the child was left outside. The boy was born alive but died of asphyxia and possible exposure, authorities said.

PHOTOS: Why is North Korean leader always surrounded by people taking notes?

North Korean's official Central News Agency (KCNA) recently released photos of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visiting different sites in the country...and one things stood out in all the pics...the young leader is always surrounded by men making notes in identical note pads. These men are not journalists, but generals and government officials.

What do you think they are writing down? Lol. I don't like this man. See more photos below:

Kim Jong-un's father also had soldiers surrounding him with notepads.

"What is happening is a demonstration of the leader's supposed power, knowledge, wisdom and concern. It's "on-the-spot guidance", something instigated by his grandfather Kim Il-sung in the 1950s. "It's part of the image of the great leader offering benevolent guidance," says Prof James Grayson, Korea expert at the University of Sheffield.

HEALTH: WHO Warn Nigerians To STOP Using Chloroquine, Artesunate For Malaria Treatment.

Chloroquine, Artesunate For Malaria Treatment 77578

The World Health Organisation had placed a global ban on the use of chloroquine and Artesunate in 2005. Nigerians have been advised against the use of Chloroquine and Artesunate for the treatment of malaria.

Nnenna Ezeigwe, National Coordinator, National Malaria Control Programme, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Abuja.

She, however, recommended that people should take only Artemisinin Combination Therapy, ACTs, when they test positive for malaria.

“If your test result is positive, take only Artemisinin Combination Therapy (ACTs). Do not treat malaria with chloroquine, artesunate or other monotherapies.

“The ACT with green leaf is good quality and affordable; Ask for it,’’ she said.

When contacted, Adeline Osakwe, Deputy Director, Pharmacovigilance, Food and Drugs Information Centre, NAFDAC, said the use of chloroquine and artesunate in Nigeria was being gradually phased out.

“Since 2005, the use of monotherapies such as Artesunate, Chloroquine had been discouraged in favour of

Aretmisinin Combination Therapy (ACT) for uncomplicated malaria.

“These ACTs include Arthemeter/Lumenfantrine, Artesunate/Amodiaquine, and other registered ones. Ms. Osakwe said that the monotherapies are gradually being phased out by not registering new ones and not renewing those that their licenses had expired.”

The World Health Organisation, WHO, had placed a global ban on the use of chloroquine and Artesunate in 2005.

Speaking on the World Malaria Day celebration, Ms. Ezeigwe advised pregnant women to register early for ante-natal care in order to receive preventive treatment against the disease.

“Expectant mothers should demand for preventive treatment, `Intermittent Preventive Treatment in Pregnancy (IPTp)’ during ante-natal visits from 16 weeks of pregnancy,’’ she said.

She said that the Federal Government and Roll Back Malaria partners had over the last decade committed huge resources to ensure that malaria was brought under control.

She said that the efforts had led to a reduction in malaria prevalence by more than eight per cent, adding that much more needed to be done.

Ms. Ezeigwe called on the private sector, the media, and the academia to play active roles in the fight against Malaria.

“It is only working together that we can end the needless suffering and deaths caused by Malaria.

“Keep your environment clean and free of puddles, and always sleep inside long lasting insecticide treated nets.

“Wear protective clothing against mosquitoes when necessary, and always get tested before you treat for Malaria,’’ she said.
